The location was very god, right on the sea, just down from the pier and the high street a short walk away. The room although quite dated had been given a lick of paint and it was clean and comfortable.
It is not a complaint as such, but we almost felt out of place as a couple in our late 40's/50'S. It seemed that all of the other guests were pensioners that were staying there as part of a coach tour. It was reflected in the evening entertainment, which was live music selected for that audience.

Everything was great, though a few employees were very rude. The room was air conditioned with exceptionally comfortable beds and good bathroom.

We like the room very much. Its really a big room. We asked for seaview double room, and unexpected we get a seaview family room,, which is a big room. We really enjoyed the big room. The room is cleaned and comfortable, the staff is friendly. Evening for the entertainments, we enjoyed the music as well. We are so enjoyable for this 2 nights stay in this hotel.
The bathroom water pressure is too slow, I spent too much time in the toilet while taking shower, the water not consistantly, its suddenly too cold, suddently too hot, its really wasting time to wait for the water.

The location and views of the beach and sea
The restauranty/dining and quality of food was canteen like at best, fish bone and scales left on fish when complained there was no replacement food given. Food was apauling, toast was thin, cheap and cold. Poor selection of food on the menu. Shower was broken but fixed when complianed - the mattress was not great either. Small lift for only 4 people. The athmosphere was horrendous - like a nursing home, this is not a hotel for family under 60 - its like a makes shift nursing home for the elderly with poor quality service to a group who is not likely to complain. Besides senior citizens should deserve better anyway in terms of choices at least.

Had an amazing time with my family, especially enjoying the delightful food and lounging by the beach umbrellas. The kids loved the sun loungers too, which made our days feel super relaxed. The only minor issue was that the shower pressure could've been better, but it didn't really take away from our fun! 😊

Seaview
Absolutely nothing, bed was horrible, rooms needs updating, breakfast poor. I wouldn't recommend anyone unless you are ok to stay overnight and don't care about comfort.

Pleasant Hotel, the seaview room was great. Right on the beach, near the pier. The hotel is a little tired, but dont let that put you off. Hotel staff all very friendly. Breakfast was good old english style. We enjoyed our stay. Recommended unless you are expecting a Holiday Inn/Hilton!
No complaints - but they need to get the lift serviced, it makes some strange noises!

I enjoyed my stay, especially the sea view from my room. I appreciated the helpful staff who provided us with plates and cutlery when we ordered takeaway. Fresh seafood from a local restaurant was a highlight, and I loved the location right on the esplanade.
The shower pressure was low, a small issue. Street parking was also difficult to find, as there was no onsite option.

Rooms clean, spacious with a beautiful view of the sea. It was very hot during our stay and it would have been lovely to have had a fan in the room. The location is very good for the beach. We stayed in different places on the Island but we wished we had stayed here and used the excellent local bus service to see the Island.
We would have preferred a buffet breakfast rather than a waitress service because it is more relaxing.
